At BDBJJ, our mission is to promote inclusivity through martial arts. We aim to strengthen the fight against bullying, boost self-esteem, and self-confidence for all. We use Jiu-Jitsu as a tool to combat depression, a sedentary lifestyle, and other illnesses affecting many. Additionally, we promote Jiu-Jitsu as a means to enhance family bonds with parent-child classes. We believe Jiu-Jitsu is for everyone and are committed to improving the physical and mental well-being of our students, leading them to a new lifestyle and life-changing transformations.

Yes, Jiu Jitsu is an excellent activity for children as it teaches discipline, respect, and improves motor coordination. We offer specific programs for different age groups, ensuring a safe and fun environment for young learners.

Jiu Jitsu offers numerous health benefits, including improved strength, flexibility, cardiovascular conditioning, as well as aiding in weight loss and stress reduction. It also contributes to mental health by boosting self-esteem and confidence.

For practicing Jiu Jitsu, it is recommended to wear an appropriate gi (kimono), which can be purchased at the academy. Additionally, some students choose to wear rash guards and spats for no-gi training and added protection during classes.
