Academy Closures – 2026 Federal Holidays
To help families plan ahead, BD BJJ Academy will be closed on the federal holidays listed below.
- New Year’s Day
Thursday, January 1, 2026 Start of the new year. The academy will be closed for the holiday.
- Martin Luther King Jr. Day
Monday, January 19, 2026 A federal holiday honoring the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
- Presidents’ Day
Monday, February 16, 2026 Recognizes past U.S. presidents. The academy will remain closed.
- Memorial Day
Monday, May 25, 2026 A day to honor and remember those who served in the military.
- Independence Day (Observed)
Friday, July 3, 2026 Celebration of U.S. independence. Observed on Friday this year.
- Labor Day
Monday, September 7, 2026 Honors the contributions of workers across the country.
- Thanksgiving Day
Thursday, November 26, 2026 A time for families to gather and give thanks.
- Christmas Day
Friday, December 25, 2026 Holiday celebrating Christmas. The academy will be closed.
Important Note:
Because July 4, 2026 falls on a Saturday, Independence Day will be observed on Friday, July 3, 2026.
